How PodQuik handles your data, clearly.

What we process

PodQuik may process account details, submitted links or content, metadata needed for podcast feed generation, and usage information required for reliability, abuse prevention, and support.

Why we process it

Submitted links and content may be processed to generate audio for playback and organization inside your private account. We use the resulting data to deliver the product you requested.

When you leave a reading’s title blank, PodQuik may send a short excerpt to an AI provider through OpenRouter to suggest a concise title. A title you enter yourself takes precedence.

Private by default

We do not run your podcast feed as a public listing by default. Access is scoped to your account context, although service providers involved in hosting and delivery may handle data as part of operating the platform.

Connected ChatGPT accounts

When you connect ChatGPT and ask it to send selected text, PodQuik receives that text, its title, and the personal or team destination you select. PodQuik stores the source text and prepares narration for processing by its audio providers. The integration does not request your entire conversation history or download ChatGPT attachments.

Personal submissions are stored in your account. Team submissions are available to authorized teammates and are delivered through the team’s existing private library and member feeds. Completed audio is published automatically to the selected destination using its available allowance.

PodQuik stores authorization records to enforce the permissions you grant. You can revoke the connection in Account settings. Disconnecting prevents further access through ChatGPT; it does not delete submitted content or cancel work already accepted. Delete content in PodQuik to stop pending processing and request removal through the existing deletion workflow.

Retention and service providers

Submitted source text and generated audio remain in PodQuik until deleted through its content or account controls. Hosting, storage, and audio providers process the data needed to provide these features. Operational integration logs use identifiers and status information rather than full submitted text. Minimal retry records may remain to prevent a deleted submission from being recreated by a stale request.

Deletion from active systems does not remove copies already downloaded into a podcast app or another authorized recipient’s device. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup lifecycle completes. Contact us for retention or deletion questions; we do not promise immediate removal from every backup or external device.
